Our Christmas tree hunt

Christmas tree hunting is one of our favorite family traditions and this past Saturday turned out to be the perfect day for our 3rd annual hunt. We decided to try a different spot so we ended up at the Furrow Christmas Tree Farm. There were so many trees we didn't know where to start.

So, we walked...


and searched...


and thankfully didn't have to go far to find the perfect one. So, Papa got down to business, did his job...


and eventually our tree came tumbling down.


We headed back home and then it was Mateo and Mama's turn. Our job was to decorate!


Oh how I love all the Christmas traditions. But, as I was pleasantly reminded today by a good friend of mine, let's not forget the reason for the season, JESUS!
