"dumb and dumber"

after looking at mateo’s pictures from mother’s day we decided that same night he needed a haircut ASAP. we didn't want to chop it off completely but only give him a good trim. he especially needed it in his bangs cause the poor boy couldn’t see! thinking it wouldn’t be hard, papa busted out his scissors and got to work. little did we know we were going to end up with “dumb and dumber” on our hands.

awww…poor guy. he was worse off than when he started. but, the funny thing is that he was so happy. can’t you tell? haha. the entire time papa was giving him the haircut he was saying, “thank you, thank you, thank you!” we think he got so used to his hair being long that he didn’t even realize he couldn’t see anymore. during the haircut he must have realized what he was missing out on.

oh and in case you’re wondering, although his hair was pretty darn funny we couldn’t send him to school like that. so, papa shaved it off and we’re starting from scratch. but, next time around we’ll definitely be calling on the professionals to help us out with the trim.
