sickies

as soon as school started the sicknesses came. i think it's because mateo went from a class with 10 kids to one with 20. double the kids means double the germs. thankfully his immune system is high. so although he got sick it wasn't too bad. eli on the other hand didn't have much luck. he came down with the same cold that eventually led to a fever and somehow a double ear infection snuck in too. i always hate when the boys are sick. it's an awful feeling to know there's not much you can do but wait it out. what i do love is the extra time at home.

on this particular day, eli was his normal happy self. he enjoyed an early morning bath.
