our tree

for 2 weeks out of every year we have the most gorgeous maple tree on the block. at least, i think it's a maple. the leaves turn this indescribable gorgeous bright red. you have to see it to believe it.

every year i look forward to this time but every year i somehow always manage to forget to take pictures. this year i almost forgot again and by the time i realized it most of the leaves had fallen to the ground. so, before i let another chance slip away i literally threw on the boys' jackets over their pjs and we were out playing in the leaves.





after 5 years of living in our little humble abode i finally have pictures i love almost as much as i love our tree.
