easter weekend

easter weekend started off with our annual trip to the tulip festival. although getting there was a bit of a nightmare it was still well worth the trip. visiting the tulips is one of my favorite spring time traditions. plus, we filled our bellies with some yummy in your tummy home cooked mexican food which made everyone happy.

thank you for surprising my husband with your visit today. the second he saw you he went crazy. jumping up and down yelling...it's jp, look it's jp, jp! he couldn't have been happier after a surprise visit from his best friend.


after the tulips we headed straight over to logan's house for an easter egg hunt. auntie keren spoils these boys rotten. there were a million eggs, easter bunnies, and more.





and what better way to end the easter weekend than with some much needed worship time celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

we went to southwest bible church just down the street from our house. Lord willing mateo will be a kindergartner there in just over 1 year.
