free time at our house usually consists of sword fights, wrestling matches, or the boys quite simply running around the house acting all crazy. and when i say boys i mean ALL of them. mateo, eli, AND papa. papa is probably the worst when it comes to getting them all riled up and yes even little eli gets in on the action.
but, once in awhile mateo will put the light saber down and ask to do what he calls “homework”. we really like the fact that it’s not being forced on him and that he’s the one asking to do it. here he is perfecting his letters.
so focused! not to mention calm and quiet. i love seeing him in this mode.
