pacific city, or

right after church on sunday morning we set out for the coast. this time we headed to pacific city, or. it was a first for the four of us.

we arrived just in time for lunch and had the perfect spot to check out. the riverhouse restaurant.


this little place makes our most favorite salad dressing and since the day we discovered it at our local grocery store we've definitely been eating a whole lot more greens.

these two were definitely happy campers. i guess good food has that effect on all of us, even the little people.


now that the bellies were full and we were ready to hit the beach you'd think the 2 little happy campers were the most excited. but no! papa was undoubtedly the most excited one. it's cause we got to do this!


it was probably one of his life long dreams to drive up right on to the sand and he finally got to do it. for me, i loved it because it makes things so much easier. the only thing worse than having to pack up a million things just to go to the beach is having to lug all that stuff from your car out to the sand. now, we have a spot where we don't have to worry about that. woohoo!

papa didn't get a session in cause it was a tab bit too cold. but, we still had fun!




at the north end of this particular beach there are these dunes.


mateo saw people hiking up and of course he wanted to too. so, up he and papa went! all the way to the top.


next time eli and i will make it up there. but, this time around we decided to hang out in the grass...
