trick or treat

for the past couple years we've been able to "guide" mateo in picking his halloween costumes. but, this year it was all him.

he was karate kid by day...


and ninja by night...


as for eli, he gets the privilege (hehe) of being whatever mama and papa want him to be. this year we had trouble agreeing on the costume. it was a clutch decision but in the end we think we may have tied mateo's sumo costume for the best costume ever.

then, they were off. collecting as much candy as their little buckets could hold.



despite the fact that it was freezing cold, the kids managed to get lots of candy and in no time at all we were back in the house hanging out and continuing the halloween fun.
