While we were eating dinner I would break off small pieces for Little Pop to eat. He absolutely loves the fact that he can now eat what we eat. But, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, he broke out in a fit. Screaming at the top of his lungs, practically jumping out of his high chair, with his face so red it looked like he was on fire. And you know what? He was on fire! At least his mouth was because stupid mama accidentally gave him a piece of the Italian SPICY sausage. As soon as I realized what happened I tried shoving everything and anything into his mouth to stop the hotness. Finally, after what felt like forever he calmed down. Sorry Little Pop, that was mama's fault!
As if the experience of eating something spicy wasn't traumatizing enough, Little Pop also got his first big battle wound earlier that day. He was at school, playing near one of the little round tables he and his classmates eat at, and somehow cut the skin near the corner of his right eye.

Thankfully he didn't poke his eye out and it wasn't any worse. His teachers called me right away and I was there just minutes after the accident. He stopped to cuddle me for a little bit but was off to play like nothing ever happened.
Now back to the big pizza hunt. It was really good. Very yummy in our tummies. But, since we didn't get a plain pepperoni it's hard to compare to Pizza Caboose. We'll just have to go back and then papa can decide if the Flying Pie is the best. Stay tuned for the results.
