From the moment we entered the Rose Garden Little Pop was in awe of everything the game had to offer. Noise, bright lights, tons of basketball crazy fans. And the loudest fan of them all might just have been our very own Pop cheering for the opposite team as he always does every time we watch the Blazers. But, Big Pop was especially loud tonight because he was cheering for one of his all-time favorite basketball players. Do I even have to say his name? Yes, of course, it's Jason Kidd. The entire night all he wanted to see was an alley hoop and finally in the 4th quarter Kidd granted his wish. Needless to say, Papa went absolutely crazy. Jumping out of his seat, arms all up in the air, like a mad man. We're lucky the Blazer fans are nice fans and not that mean kind that would have lynched him in a split second.
The game ended in a Nets win 106-101. But, the night wasn't over just yet. We headed down through the tunnel.
Hung out with Jason Collins a little bit...

And then waited and waited and waited. We waited for what felt like an eternity. But, in a seconds time the waiting became all worth it. Jason Kidd walked out, Papa's dream came true and he found himself face to face with one of his all-time favorites.

Just think. This was Little Pop's very first game. I wonder what will happen at his second? We'll have to wait and see.
