A Familiar Face

This past weekend we made the road trip up to Seattle once again. But, this time we made the drive and met up with someone strangely familiar. At first, Mateo wasn't too sure about him. But, literally seconds later the wheels in his head started to turn. He couldn't take his eyes off the guy sitting right next to him and soon enough realized..."Oh, it's Uncle JP!"

All day Saturday we enjoyed Downtown Seattle with our first stop being the Space Needle. Although Mateo has seen it a few times before he still couldn't believe how tall it really is.



Little Pop was so fascinated that he and Big Pop climbed up high to get a better view.



Bright and early Sunday morning we hit the road back to Portland. Uncle JP was excited to get back to the city he's learned to love. But, on the way the boys couldn't resist stopping at Cabelas, "The World's Foremost Outfitter". It's a hunting store big enough to be considered the Disneyland for hunters. Even wanna be ones can shop there too. I mean come on! Look at these goofy guys in their flannel, camo and hunting hat.



I guess Cabelas proved to be too hard core. We walked out of the store empty handed.
