Little Pop thought he was way too cool!

He also thought he was joining the ride back to California.

But, to his dismay he had to give goodbye hugs and then watched as Lolo and Lola rode off into the crisp cool morning.

Not to worry Mateo, the crew will be together again very very soon.
This past week, we were reminded that we can never take for granted the family God blessed us with. Without their generosity of always willing to come all the way to Oregon to take care of Mateo, we wouldn't be able to do what we do.
Lord, thank you for family!

sweet refrain...it was after all a 'bonding crew as well'...mateo, you are amazing...WOW!!!!as you always say...you are a perky smart boy for 20 mos...your knowledge of trucks is astounding...soon enough your knowledge of harleys will surpass me....the ride to/fro was a butt-wrenching experience or may just be my behind is getting thinner....if not for the thought of playing w/ you..."i will never ride a harley again"....mahal kita.
God is good....
Lessons learned from a 20-month old grandson named Mateo: 1)Clap when lolo or lola finally secures the seatbelt correctly; 2) Pull aside whoever is with you to open the automatic doors your way..(the handicap gadget); 3) Riding on the bicycle w/ your gear is okay even only in circles inside the garage;4)No matter what happens...when you are tired, just sit down and the message gets through even on the sidewalk or anwhere you feel like it; 5)Catch up w/ lolo even if he sneaks out on you as you are aware when the door to the garage opens; 6) Did we hear you say, abet? yes,we did; 7) When starting
a race w/your papa... run parallel and not go the opposite direction as what happened at the nike soccer field; 8) we miss you, lots.....
