the great thing about delivering at st. vincent's is that they offer a postpartum checkup. this gives you the chance to have a couple days at home with your newborn and then come back to ask any and all questions you may have. what i like best is that they focus on breastfeeding. although this isn't my first time it was still really helpful to learn some tips and tricks.
anyhow, after the appointment we headed to lunch at mateo's favorite pizza place...pizza caboose. eli slept the entire time and by the time we got home he was still sleeping as hard as a rock.
i guess the big day out really pooped him out.
