my trip started tuesday afternoon and finally after 16 hours of traveling we ended up in taichung, taiwan. after all that travel and a 6am wakeup call looming in my near future, all i wanted to do was hit the sack. but as soon as i entered my room those plans quickly came to a halt because this is what i saw….a huge bathtub sitting in front of a window overlooking the twinkling lights of the city. it was calling my name. all i had to do was throw in the bath salt and jump right in. 3 nights in taiwan = 3 nights in the bathtub. it was pure bliss.

the rest of the time in taiwan was a whirlwind. project work, factory/vendor tours, and more project work.

being an asia first timer i even got to stitch an upper. ummm, let’s just say i’m not quitting my day job anytime soon.

even with all the busyness somehow we were able to fit in good eating and some shopping too. the night market was something i can’t even begin to explain. the sights, sounds, smells, and amount of people shopping at nearly midnight was a unique experience to say the least.

before we knew it we were back on a plane being whisked away to vietnam. we had the weekend off to explore ho chi minh city.

let me just say…i couldn’t get enough of the scooter thing. they were everywhere and in massive quantities.

holding a family of 3 and sometimes up to 4 at one time.

the floods didn’t even stop them. they simply pulled up their jeans and moved right along.

after a few days in the chaos of the city we headed out to the beaches of vietnam.

i kept pinching myself. i couldn’t believe this was a “work” trip.

...nice trip....reminds us of what we used to do while on our 'work assignment' back home..only local venues though....it is good you get to do this....always welcome the opportunity to do this....do not hesitate ......just drop off the boys at lax ..... we will chauffeur them to chino hills....or better yet..let us know early and we will tag along....as usual....
