our christmas in cali

as you can see, i’m trying to catch up on this whole blogging thing. but when it comes to our christmas in cali i have no idea where to start. too many memories and so many blessings. how do I even begin?

here goes…

the first part of our trip was spent with the zaporteza side. it was truly special because i can’t even remember the last time we were all together. with ate liza in ny, ryan and the girls in az, the marchens in cali and us in oregon it’s somewhat complicated getting together all in the same place all at the same time. thankfully this year we were able to do it.

our first stop was disneyland. it was jasmine and lala’s very first time. their faces were priceless with grins from ear to ear.


disneyland truly is a magical place but when you throw christmas into the mix it can’t get any better. while walking up main street i got all giddy inside. i just love it!




the only negative thing about going during the holidays is the crowds. there were so many people it was unbelievable. but, despite the masses we were still able to do most everything and had lots of fun.






we had SO much fun that by the time night rolled in the younger cousins just couldn't keep up.



so, we packed up and headed out making one last pit stop in downtown disney. i can't remember the name of the store. it was basically a "build a bear" but for cars. it was supposed to be mateo's suprise but honestly i think it was just as much for papa too. these 2 went crazy. picking out the body, wheels, tires and more.



$80 later they can say they built their own car. way too expensive if you ask me. but, well worth it according to the boys. look how happy they are!
