ok, ok. i know it's not papa's fault that he had to go work in vegas out of all places. but, the air is honestly the last thing i needed to worry about while playing single mom for the week. thankfully, sunday was the only full day we had to deal with it cause the rest of the week is to be spent at work/school.
my poor boys were sweltering. they are definitely not used to this kind of heat.
in this midst of this trial and unbearably hot house i find myself being a spoiled brat. i know that's what you're all thinking too so might as well put it out there :-) i can't help but think and pray for those people across the country who were and are probably still dealing with 100 degrees+ day in and day out. not to mention the rest of the world where air conditioning is simply a luxury. i definitely need to be more grateful and shouldn't be the one doing the kicking. i think someone needs to kick me!
