nowadays, flights are quite interesting with eli. he’s definitely a mover and a shaker. so, being locked down to one very tiny seat (that he still shares with me mind you) doesn’t sit well with him. after about 1 hour of trying to hold him down it felt like my arms were literally gonna fall off. thankfully, he fell asleep for the second half and i enjoyed peace and quiet till we touched ground.
our weekend consisted of lots of cousin time (of course)…
…and a trip to legoland. lucky boys!
their first ride of choice was this safari ride. we waited in line for almost an hour for not even 2 minutes of ride time. luckily, the boys didn't mind. they were still totally stoked.
funny story here. eli and garrett were too little to ride. but, they patiently waited in the play area while the big boys were in line. as soon as grandpa and mateo jumped in the jeep eli went crazy. poor kid wanted to go too. he wanted to go so badly he tried to break through.
after only the first ride we were already feeling the heat, so we let the kids run around the water area. still so excited as you can see.
oopsie. maybe a little too excited. sorry auntie jerrylyn! he didn't mean to get you. really!
awww...a picture of the boys. i love these kids!
i was also able to sneak in a day trip to glen ivy with my partner and crime, nannie lannie. i love to relax and so does she. we make for the perfect match. hehe.
now it's off to work i go.
