we were invited by the bromerts and the medaks who graciously opened their homes. the kids had a blast at the pool, playing at the park, and having slumber parties all weekend long. but i'm quite certain that the bike riding was by far the best part of their trip. there are miles and miles of running/bike paths that they for sure took advantage of. one morning some of the parents went for a run with andrew and mateo riding alongside. before they knew it they had rode a whole 4.5 miles! pretty impressive if you ask me.
i'm pretty bummed i didn't get any pictures of the boys and their friends. it was really that hectic with all of them running around. but, i did capture eli in the one and only quiet moment of the weekend. this was taken during a morning walk.
as for mateo, i didn't have the chance to chase him down with the camera. so, on the way home we pulled over to the side of the road and snapped a quick pic. i think that's the "three sisters" in the background.
with 2 visits to sunriver under our belt we're finding ourselves wanting to go back yet again. there's still so much for us to explore and enjoy.
