day 9: part 1

this was our view when we woke up bright and early tuesday morning.  disney's very own private island...castaway cay.  it was paradise!

to start off the day papa and uncle juice ran the castaway cay 5k and papa ended up finishing in 3rd place.  go papa!

after the race they showered up and we all headed down to the beach together.

isn't the ship just too pretty?  i couldn't help but take a million pictures of it.

after a short walk from the ship down to the sand we found ourselves the perfect spot.  i think my mom could have laid there all day.

the boys...not so much.

but we didn't stay long because there was so much more to explore.

before we knew it, it was lunchtime.  lucky for us the food wasn't far at all.  we devoured an all you can eat bbq feast and endless amounts of ice cream to top it off.

our day was only half way over and we were already dreading leaving this place.  we were in love.
