cancun: the end

being so close to one of the 7 wonders of the world we couldn't pass up going to chichen itza. it made for a long day but thankfully lolo and lola offered to babysit eli back at the resort while mateo came along. we brought him because we want to start exposing him to as much as history and culture as we possibly can. what a great way to start.

we did lots of walking on what felt like the hottest day of the trip. so every time we stopped mateo was on mission to find the first open stone to sit on. he was definitely a trooper.

not only was it a great day of learning but it was topped off with some amazing tacos. just thinking about them makes me drool.

thursday was our last day in paradise. it also happened to be thanksgiving. so what did we decide to do? rent a catamaran of course! we figured there's no where else in the entire world that we'd be able to afford renting our very own private catamaran with a captain and bartender no less. so that's what we did.

snorkeling.

isle de mujeres.

sailing home.

4 hours of feeling like jay z. it will be something that all of us will remember forever. no doubt.

words cannot describe how blessed we feel to have had such an amazing time. this vacay will go down in the books as one of the best ever.
