they arrived last wednesday and stayed 4 days. it was the perfect amount of time to tour portland, catch up and even relax. our saturday was spent celebrating jean's birthday and of course that included lots and lots of food plus the oregon coast.
stop 1: helvetia. this place is on the way to the coast and out in boonie land.
it's so far out there this is what you see across the street.
stop 2: bruce's candy kitchen
stop 3: haystack rock
stop 4: alberta street oyster bar & grill where we had oysters at the birthday girl's request.
last stop: tour de crepes. what a way to end the night!
we very much enjoyed the carlos family visit and hope they enjoyed it just as much.

Mateo's laugh is contagious. He seems to have fun with mama, papa and friends. Little Toby is so cute.
