part 2: oc

wednesday was the beginning and end of our time back home. we literally had one whole day to enjoy time with as many friends and family as humanly possible. so, our action packed day started at huntington beach with cousins caleb and gavin. it was actually gavin’s very first trip to the beach and all of them had the time of their lives.

here’s caleb down at the water. although it was pretty darn cold he could care less and spent the entire time there. i think he came back to the towel two times. once to change and the other for a snack. if it were up to him he would have never come back. haha.



mateo and gavin did the opposite and decided to play in the sand.


at one point jerrylyn had to go back to her car. so, i buried the both of them and then laid back and relaxed. i even closed my eyes for a quick second and it brought me back to my pre-mama days when a beach trip consisted of a bikini, a towel, and nothing else. my oh my, how things have changed.



then, mateo goes and does something funny like this and it reminds me that though things have changed they've definitely changed for the better. he cracks me up!

after about 3 rounds of chasing down bubbles to the end of the earth he started running slower and slower. finally, after the 5th time he walked back saying "i'm too tired" and could do no more. maybe you’ll catch one next time buddy.

for dinner my mom cooked up some goodness and we had as many people as the house could hold come over.

taylor and the boys. i wish i had video of her and mateo doing their "cha cha cha moves" dancing with the stars style. but this one will have to do.


the newest babies titus and luke also came. it was good times.

last stop...vegas. here we come!
